Dr. Jason Baehr is Professor of Philosophy at Loyola Marymount University in Long Beach, California.

Dr. Marvin W. Berkowitz is the Sanford N. McDonnell Endowed Professor of Character Education, and Co-Director of the Center for Character and Citizenship at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and University of Missouri President’s Thomas Jefferson Professor.


Professor Berkowitz's research interests include: character education and development.


He leads training on: character education, citizenship education, integrating character education into the academic curriculum, school leadership for character education, empowering student voices in school, parent involvement, character education program evaluation, school culture audit, staff culture audit, character education leadership team development, parenting for character development, leadership mentoring, sports and character, and social justice.

Dr. Igor Grossmann is Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Waterloo in Canada.  


Professor Grossmann's research interests include: social-cognitive science, big data analytics, psychophysiology, diary surveys, and behavioural experiments.


He inquires about: How do people make sense of complex social challenges? What does science tell us about wisdom? How do sociocultural factors interact with wise reasoning and sound judgment?

Dr. Kristján Kristjánsson is Professor of Character Education and Virtue Ethics and the Deputy Director of the Jobilee Center for Character and Virtues at University of Birmingham in the UK. 


Professor Kristjánsson's research interests include: Aristotle-inspired philosophical scrutiny of theories in educational psychology and values education.


He inquires about: How can we build a bridge between philosophy and social science? 

Dr. Daniel K. Lapsley is ACE College Professor of Psychology at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. 


Professor Lapsley's research interests include: developmental psychology, and moral and adolescent psychology.


He inquires about: How do we best understand the moral dimensions of personality? What does it mean to be a moral person? Or a person of "good character?"

Dr. David I. Walker is Associate Professor of Character Education in the Department of Educational Studies at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He is also the Director of the Center for the Study of Ethical Development and Fellow of the UK Higher Education Authority. 


Professor Walker's research interests include: Moral and Character Development,  Professional Ethics and Identify, Interdisciplinary Research, and Military/Ex-Military Populations.


He inquires about: What’s the Educational Leadership required for Character?
